This shouldn't be a problem if you are a law obeying citizen :D How do you find out the status of the FBI name clearance? You wait until PD becomes current and nothing happens then place an inquiry with BCIS?

This is indeed exactly what I did. After my PD (01/2002) became current on 09/01, I waited two weeks then inquired about the status of my case: the first time, they told me they were still waiting for the FBI name check to clear and, the second time to find out that the name check had been pending since...08/2004 (when I filed I-485):mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

If you were smart enough, you would have started a new thread and not use a thread titled 'USCIS - Annoncement its official'. You very well know the implications of raking up such sensational threads and if you do not, you should, going forward. Nothing personal bro. And hope your situation improves.
Also, if it helps here's my story: I'm a 4.0 GPA grad from one of the best univs in the US. I have been in this country for 12 years now with more than 10 years of work experience. However, my title still says that I'm a programmer. Sucks right? Yeah, others around us will grow, prosper and succeed in life. Feels bad to be in our shoes. This is a choice that each one of us has made. However, that does not mean we vent out our frustrations on a public forum. Even if we do, we should use proper means. My 2c :)

If you don't know something please keep quiet. Don't spread nonsense rumors. First of all the primary GC applicant is not affected in anyway. Spouse GC will show up anywhere between 7 to 12 months depending upon how the documentation is done.

Dear All,
Today, one of my Friend�s I-485 got returned from Mail room due to Filing fee missing.
He is 100% sure that he attached 325$+70$ filing fee along with application, he has photocopy too to prove his stand.
He is lucky, that he is re- filing it again, my question is , what happens, if the file get returned due to mail room clerks error . Can we refile again after 17th Aug,2007 ?
What proof we have to make sure that we filed properly, will USCIS honor our proof ( that is photocopy of all the document we retain ) as a proof that we filed properly.

Could you please guide us in self filing?
a) Is there E- renewals? What about photographs for such renewals?
b) What documents are required for renewing?
c) Where can we find information regarding EAD and AP renewals?

My(dependant) EAD is still pending while primary's EAD was approved on 8/19 by TSC.
Anybody out there with Self and Spouse EAD Card approved from NSC, but Self actual physical EAD card arrived but Spouse physical EAD card did not arrive at the usual time say 5 days after approval.
Usually I have seen both arrive at the same time. Please comment. Thanks.
I ahve also heard about cards being stolen from the Kentucky facility. So, anybody out there who had to file for a replacement card for self or spouse.

You are right... you should not submit documents with your LC first submission. In my case, they asked for some documents after my submisission(what it's called Audit); one of them was the Ad which they were not satisfied with it, so they Denied my case. However we appealed sending the whole Ad page making them change the case back to 'In Process'.
I hope so too and thanks for your reply. I am still confused. As far as I know, you are not supposed to send/submit any supporting documents with your LC application unless it is asked for in a later date.
Now my question is, did they ask you to submit the newspaper ad some point after your manager/lawyer submited your LC application online? It seems like you sent the just ad part and they were not satisfied with it and asked more evidence and you sent the whole page again. Did they deny your LC after you sent the whole page ad or what point did they deny it?
